The "Entrepreneurial University" program, a transformative initiative for Greek universities, marked a pivotal moment in fostering entrepreneurial thinking among students and researchers. This collaborative endeavor, spearheaded by Deputy Minister for Education and Religious Affairs, Angelos Syrigos, and the Ambassador of the Netherlands in Greece, Mrs. Stella Ronner-Grubacic, brought together 55 representatives from 19 universities for a groundbreaking series of masterclasses.

Cultivating entrepreneurial ecosystems

The program enlisted a number of experienced trainers, including Erik Boer, Arjan Goudsblom, Maciej Markowski, Holger Meijer, Erik Stam, Steef Blok, and many others. Their collective expertise in cultivating entrepreneurial ecosystems and entrepreneurial thinking among students and researchers enriched this masterclass. They further infused global entrepreneurial expertise into the rich and dynamic Greek academic landscape, adding to local knowledge and experience.

Outcome of the Entrepreneurial university program

The program succeeded in uniting 55 representatives from diverse Greek universities, fostering a collective spirit of exploration and innovation. In essence, the "Entrepreneurial University" program in Greece not only equipped universities with the tools for entrepreneurial education but also symbolized a collaborative movement towards creating a more innovative and forward-thinking academic landscape.
